These groups provide a monthly opportunity to learn about workforce activities, share hiring and training needs, and make progress on industry-related initiatives strengthen our region. Each month North AlabamaWorks gathers industry professionals for discussion and sharing of current issues and solutions. Currently, six industries are represented: Aerospace, Construction, Cyber/IT, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Utilities.

What is an Industry Cluster?

An industry cluster is a group of major industries in the region established to promote sustainability, profitability, and provide a forum for potential collaboration, resource sharing, and innovation between companies.

Because of the rapidly changing economy in North Alabama, these monthly discussions allow rapid response to opportunities by economic development, education, and workforce partners who are often on the call or in the meeting room.
